Working through it
Install the app for your device
Android TV and phones take it straight from Google Play. A Firestick needs a sideload through Downloader, which the Firestick guide covers step by step. Samsung and LG carry it in their own stores. Apple has it in the App Store. Windows and macOS have desktop builds on the official site.
Choose Login with Xtream Codes API
Accept the terms on the opening screen and pick the Xtream Codes option. Ignore the M3U route unless the desk has specifically pointed you at it, because Xtream is what pulls down the programme guide and the on-demand library. Choosing wrongly here is the single most common reason people end up with channels but no guide.
Enter your Stryvix4K details
Give the profile any name at all, then the username, password and server URL including the http:// and the port, exactly as sent. Tap Add User. Type rather than paste if you can — text copied out of a chat window regularly carries a trailing space you cannot see.
Let the guide finish loading
It now downloads channels, on-demand titles and programme data. The guide in particular takes a few minutes to fill in properly, so do not judge it on the first thirty seconds. Leave it be and come back.
Set the player up before you need it
Go to Settings, then Player settings, and choose the built-in player with hardware decoding. If one channel stutters while everything else is fine, change that single channel to software decoding rather than altering the global setting — it is almost always a codec quirk on that one feed.
When it goes wrong, and what fixes it
"Your account is expired"
That is the subscription reaching its end date rather than a fault in the app, and it alarms people more than it should. Renew with the desk and the identical credentials start working again within minutes. Nothing needs reinstalling and no settings are lost.
The channel list is empty after logging in
Pull down to refresh, then sign out and back in. If it is still bare, something in the server address is wrong, and the port number is the usual offender. Send us a photo of the login screen with the password covered and we will spot it immediately.
The app keeps closing on a Firestick
Clear its cache under Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, then reopen. If it keeps happening, remove it and install a current build — an old sideloaded APK running on updated Fire OS is a reliable way to produce exactly this.
Channels play but the guide stays blank
Confirm you used the Xtream Codes API login rather than the M3U playlist option. If you did, give the guide longer on first run; on a large line-up it genuinely takes several minutes.
The on-demand section is missing entirely
Same cause as the blank guide: an M3U login carries live channels only. Delete the profile, add it again with Xtream Codes, and the on-demand library appears alongside the channels.
It shows an old expiry date on the profile screen
That figure is fetched from our server rather than calculated locally, so a wrong date is worth reporting rather than ignoring. Renewals occasionally need a refresh at our end to push through. Sign out and back in first; if it persists, send us a screenshot.
Two profiles appear and one no longer works
Adding a login twice creates a second profile rather than replacing the first, and people often end up with an old, expired one alongside the current. Delete the stale profile from the profile list; keeping both is the usual reason a device seems to work intermittently.
The on-demand section takes forever to open
That library is large and the app loads its index in one go. Give it a minute on first open; afterwards it is cached. If it is consistently unusable on an older device, that is a memory limitation, and a lighter player or a cheap stick is the honest answer.
Players that take the same login
TiViMate
Add your subscription to TiViMate in about five minutes, set the guide refresh, and understand what Premium actually buys before you pay for it.
Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
Upload your playlist to Smart IPTV by MAC address at siptv.app, restart the app, and sort out the expired-playlist message that alarms people.

IPTV Smarters Pro IPTV FAQ
Is IPTV Smarters Pro free?
The app is free on every platform. Some app stores list a paid variant from a different developer; you do not need it. What you pay for is the subscription that goes into it, never the player itself.
What is the IPTV Smarters Pro subscription?
There is not one, and if something inside the app asks you to buy a subscription you are looking at either a clone or a bundled advert. Smarters is an empty shell until you enter credentials from a provider.
Smarters Pro vs TiViMate, which is better?
TiViMate on Android hardware, without much argument — the guide is far better and multi-view exists. Smarters wins on availability: it runs on Apple, Samsung and LG where TiViMate does not exist at all. Most households end up with both.
Can I use it on several devices at once?
Install it anywhere you like. Your plan limits how many streams run simultaneously, not how many copies of the app hold your login.
Does it record?
The desktop builds have a recording option. The television builds mostly do not, and where they claim to, it is unreliable. TiViMate Premium is the dependable answer for recording.
What is the difference between Smarters Pro and Smarters Player Lite?
Lite is a stripped-back build published for platforms with tighter store rules. It plays fine but has fewer settings. Where both are available, take Pro.
Can I hide adult categories?
Yes, and it is worth doing on a family television. Smarters has a parental-control setting that hides categories behind a PIN. Ask the desk if you would rather those categories were not in your line-up at all — we can supply a playlist without them.
Can I change which player engine it uses?
Yes, under Settings, Player settings. The built-in player with hardware decoding suits most setups. Switching a single problem channel to the alternative engine, rather than changing it globally, is nearly always the better fix.
Does it work offline at all?
No, and nothing in this field does — every channel is streamed live from our servers, so an internet connection is required throughout. The recording feature in the desktop builds is the closest thing to offline viewing, and that only covers what you recorded while connected.
