Stryvix4K – IPTV Subscription with 24/7 Human Support

What Is an Xtream Codes Login and How to Use It

Nearly every support message that begins “it says my details are wrong” ends up being about one field on one screen, so this page exists to explain that screen properly. Xtream Codes is not a company you sign up with and not something you buy — it is simply the shape of login that most IPTV players understand. You give the app three values and it fetches everything else by itself: the channel list, the programme guide, the on-demand library. The alternative, a plain M3U playlist, carries the channels and nothing more. Where a player offers both, take Xtream every time. It is worth understanding one more thing before you start typing: these three values are portable. The same server, username and password sign in on a Firestick, a Samsung set, a laptop and a phone, in any player that speaks Xtream. Nothing is registered to a device, which is why setting up the second television takes a minute rather than repeating this whole process.

Before you start

  • Any IPTV app with an Xtream Codes or "Xtream API" option
  • Your Stryvix4K activation message

Nothing to sign in with yet? Open a 24-hour trial and the desk sends credentials in minutes, or choose a plan.

Working through it

  1. Find the Xtream option in your app

IPTV Smarters calls it "Login with Xtream Codes API". TiViMate calls it "Xtream Codes login". Most others shorten it to "Xtream" or simply "API". Where a player offers both this and a playlist option, the Xtream one is what you want — the playlist route quietly costs you the guide and the on-demand section.

    Get credentials first

  2. Enter the server URL

The full address, with http:// at the front and the port on the end, shaped like http://example.com:8080. Nothing goes after the port — no slash, no path, no filename. This single field is responsible for the overwhelming majority of failed logins, so if something is wrong, look here before anywhere else.

  3. Enter username and password

Copy both straight from the activation message and mind the capitals, because they are case sensitive. The profile name the app asks for is purely cosmetic and affects nothing. If you are typing on a television remote, consider setting the account up on a phone first to prove the values are right.

  4. Save and let it sync

Channels, on-demand content and the guide download by themselves. Keep those three values somewhere you can find them: adding a second television later takes under a minute if you have them to hand, and means you do not have to come back to us for a copy.

When it goes wrong, and what fixes it

The app asks for an M3U URL instead

A few older players only understand playlists. Use the M3U link from the same activation message — it carries the identical account in a different wrapper. Expect no guide and no on-demand library on that route; the M3U page explains what you lose.

"Invalid credentials" but the details look right

Check for a trailing space, which pasting from a chat window adds surprisingly often and which nothing on screen will show you. Then check the port is present. Then type the password by hand once. In that order — it is almost always the first or second.

It connects but only a few channels appear

The account is working, so this is a category filter rather than a login problem. Look in the player settings for hidden or deselected groups; most players ask which categories to include on first run and people click through it without reading.

The login works on one device and not another

That rules out the account entirely and points at typing or at the app. Compare the server field character by character between the two. If they genuinely match, the second app may not support Xtream properly, in which case try Smarters on that device.

Everything worked, then stopped at the same time of day

That usually means the plan reached its end date rather than anything technical. Message the desk; renewal reactivates the identical credentials within minutes and nothing needs to be set up again.

You have the values but no server address

Some providers issue only an M3U link and expect you to derive the server from it. The portion before /get.php is the server address, and the username and password sit in the URL as parameters. If you would rather not pick a URL apart, ask us and we will send the three values separately.

The player accepts the login but shows a past expiry date

Most Xtream-capable players display the account expiry on the profile screen, and it is read from our server rather than guessed. If the date shown is wrong or in the past while your plan is current, screenshot it and send it over — that is a genuine account-side thing for us to correct, not something to fix in the app.

Two devices work and a third refuses the same details

When two devices are fine, the credentials are provably correct, so the third is either mistyped or hitting a network that blocks the port. Test that device on mobile data: if it connects there, the local network is the cause and the desk can suggest an alternative address.

Players that take the same login

Stuck anywhere on your Xtream Codes login?

Send the desk a photo of the screen and someone will talk you through it. Plans start at $15 a month for the full 25,000+ channels, with credentials issued under 15 minutes.

Xtream Codes login IPTV FAQ

Is Xtream Codes legal?

The protocol itself is neutral — it is just a login format that lets an app talk to a server, in the same way a web address is neutral. Legality attaches to what a provider is distributing, not to how your player authenticates. Our legality article covers how to judge that.

Is Xtream Codes a company I sign up with?

No. There is nothing to register for and nobody to pay. It is a standard your player supports, and your credentials come from us, not from Xtream.

Should I use Xtream or M3U?

Xtream, whenever your player offers it. It brings the guide and the on-demand library; the playlist route brings neither. Only fall back to M3U when the app genuinely has no Xtream option.

Can I see my Xtream details again later?

Yes, ask the desk and we will resend them. It is quicker if you saved them, but we are not going to make you feel bad about it — this comes up daily.

Does the port ever change?

Rarely, but it can if we move infrastructure. If a previously working login suddenly fails on every device at once, that is worth asking about rather than retyping endlessly.

Can I change my Xtream password?

Ask the desk and we will reissue the credentials. Do it if you have ever shared the details, since anyone holding them can sign in and consume your simultaneous streams. Every device you own will need the new values entered once.

Why do some apps call it "API" and others "Xtream"?

Purely naming. The underlying protocol is the same, and developers abbreviate it differently. If you see an option mentioning Xtream, API, or Xtream Codes, that is the one to choose.

Is it safe to save my login in the app?

Yes, that is what it is for. What is worth avoiding is leaving the three values in a screenshot on a shared phone or in a group chat — anyone with them can sign in and eat your simultaneous streams.

Does using Xtream slow anything down compared to M3U?

No. The video streams are identical, from the same servers, over the same connection. The only difference is that Xtream additionally fetches guide and on-demand metadata, which happens once at sign-in rather than during playback. There is no ongoing cost to it.
